Research and development (R&D) are the key drivers of corporate growth.

A robust R&D infrastructure produces high-quality products, which increases sales and enhances consumer trust in the company.

Sunscreens, in particular, have become essential year-round, requiring consideration of various aspects such as convenience, ingredients, formulations, and UV-blocking technology.

Despite the complexity of this process, leading domestic cosmetics companies have heavily invested in the R&D of sunscreens.

As a result, they have produced innovative products with advanced technologies, capturing the domestic market and making significant inroads into international markets, thus sparking the 'K-Sunscreen' trend.

Cosmax is leading the market by introducing innovative sunscreen products that incorporate independently developed sun care technologies, keeping pace with changing sunscreen trends.

They have applied their transparent sun serum technology, 'Clear Fence,' to products such as 'AHC Safe On Light Sun Serum' and 'Joseon Beauty Ginseng Sun Serum.'

Typically, creating transparent lotions or creams that contain a significant amount of oil is challenging. This difficulty is even more incredible for sunscreens with high oil content.

However, using capsule technology, Cosmax has successfully created a transparent sunscreen with the highest SPF50+PA4+ rating.

They have enhanced the UV protection effect by forming an even protective layer on the skin with transparent capsules without using emulsifiers.

The absence of any white cast allows for a natural, dewy skin finish.

Cosmax is also focusing on developing technologies that overcome the limitations of both mineral sunscreens and organic sunscreens.

Mineral sunscreens reflect UV rays on the skin's surface and cause less irritation, but they often leave a white cast.

Organic sunscreens, on the other hand, apply smoothly without a white cast but can irritate sensitive skin.

To address mineral sunscreens' poor spreadability, Cosmax applied 'Aqua-ETA' technology. Products like 'Athe Vegan Relief Mineral Sunscreen' and 'Dear Klairs All Day Airy Mineral Sunscreen' exemplify this innovation, offering excellent initial spreadability without clumping or significant white cast.

Additionally, Cosmax developed 'Dual Fence' technology, which enhances the synergy between UV-blocking ingredients, creating products that are easy to apply, like essential skincare, while offering strong UV protection.

Notable products include 'Easentry Onion Fresh Fluid Sunscreen' and 'Round Lab Birch Moisture Tone-Up Sunscreen.'

Another noteworthy technology is 'P-SE™,' used in 'Melixir Vegan Air-Fit Sunscreen.' This technology improves the dispersion of the main UV-blocking ingredients, ensuring both product safety and effective UV protection.

Typically, the dispersion of oil-based ingredients in lotion-type mineral sunscreens is suboptimal, but Cosmax has improved this from the manufacturing process, effectively solving both quality and UV protection issues.
