LaserOptek announced its participation in 'IMCAS Americas,' held in São Paulo, Brazil, from the 26th to the 28th, marking the beginning of its full-scale entry into the Latin American market.

IMCAS, a globally renowned aesthetic plastic surgery conference, has been held annually in Paris, France. However, with the significant expansion of the Latin American market in recent years, IMCAS Americas has been separately organized since 2017. This year's IMCAS Americas attracted participation from over 70 companies and more than 2,000 medical professionals, generating considerable interest.

In particular, LaserOptek set up a separate booth to showcase its key equipment, such as Helios785 (HELIOS785 PICO) and PicoLO. According to testimonies from the event, visitors showed particular interest in Helios785.

Helios 785 is a laser for whitening and pigment treatment, equipped with both a high-power picosecond laser and a nanolaser at 785nm wavelength. During the event, LaserOptek invited Dr. Guilherme Olsen Almeida from Brazil to conduct hands-on lectures on Helios 785 and PicoLO, helping attendees better understand the machines.

Mr. Lee Chang-jin, CEO of LaserOptek, stated, "We have already established distributorship with experienced local agencies in Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, and other countries in Latin America. We are also preparing for partnerships for distribution in other regional countries. The participation in IMCAS Americas will accelerate our efforts to penetrate the Latin American market."

Meanwhile, the energy-based devices (EBD) market in the aesthetic field in Latin America was valued at $440 million in 2021, accounting for 8.9% of the global market. However, it is projected to grow at a CAGR of 11% and reach $820 million by 2027. Latin America offers significant market growth potential due to its relatively lower prices for skin beauty and medical procedures than advanced countries and less stringent regulatory authorities.

LaserOptek aims to achieve sales of approximately 80 billion Korean won by 2027, focusing on expanding production capacity and diversifying its product range since its listing on the KOSDAQ in February of this year.
